Waitin' on a bus, waitin' on a train. Standin' in the sun, standin' in the rain. Thinkin' about good times and times of pain. Waitin' on a bus, waitin' on a train. Sittin' on a bus, sittin' on a train. Waitin' on the sun, waitin' on the rain. Think about future ground to gain. Waitin' on the sun, waitin' on the rain. Thinkin' about good times, thinkin' about pain. Thinkin' about future ground to gain. Waitin' on a bus, waitin' on a train. Waitin' on the sun, waitin' on the rain. Waitin' on a bus, waitin' on a train. Waitin' in the sun, waitin' in the rain. Thinkin' about future ground to gain. Waitin' on a bus, waitin' on a train.

My brother lives in the country On a corner-lot estate If I could afford to be that far out Man, life would be great But I live ... - Chorus - In the thick of it In the thick of it In the thick of it In the thick of it I get around all over this town In the thick of it My cousin lives on a 20-acre farm Surrounded by its own creek If I had dominion on that much land Man, I'd feel like a sheik But I live ... - Chorus - My parents live on top Of a pine-covered ridge I go to see them whenever I can Cross the river, over the bridge Where I live ... - Chorus -

Not a Cowboy 04:48
I am not a butcher/baker / Not a candlestick maker Would you, oh would you / Marry me? I am not a doctor/lawyer / Not an Indian chief Would you, oh would you / Marry me? I am not a rich man/poor man / Not a beggerman/thief Would you, oh would you / Marry me? - Chorus - It’s been such a long time / It’s been such a long, lonely time now It’s been such a long time / It’s been such a long, lonely time now It’s been such a long time / It’s been such a long, lonely time now It’s been such a long time / It’s been such a long-ass time, Yo! I am not a sailor / but I’m long out to sea Would you, oh would you / Marry me? I am not a cowboy / but I play one on TV Would you, oh would you / Marry me? I am just a guy, you know? / I wonder how this could be. If you were to / Marry me - Chorus - I am not a cowboy / But I shot one on TV Would you, oh could you / Marry me? I am not a cowboy / But I bet that I could be If you were to marry me?

Right Now 04:56
Should I only write a love song? Well, that’s the only thing that’s goin’ on In my mind .... Right now ... Right here, right now (etc) Should I try to make the whole world cry? I only want to hum a lullaby And chase away your fears Right now ... Right here, right now (etc) - Chorus - There’s tragedy all over the world. And not every boy has a girl Like the one I got Right now ... Right here, right now (etc) Shall I try to write a requiem? I only want to sing a little hymn And shout it out loud Right now ... Oh, right now (etc) I could sing of so many things But the joy that you bring Is all that I can feel Right now ... Right here, right now (etc) - Chorus- Should I only write a love song? Well, that’s the only thing that’s goin’ on In my mind right now

We all have our own bear to cross Get to the other side with minimal loss Everybody hikes their own nature trail Some get to heaven, some gotta bail Work all day and have lunch with the boss Remember which side of the tree has the moss Chorus Someday I'm gonna die Until then I'll be alive Gonna take every breath I get Ride life hard and put it up wet Be prepared to modify my plan Don’t forget to stick it to the man Someday I'm gonna die Until then I'll be alive The burden of life is some heavy stuff I'll be around when the goin' gets rough Like the long-lost cousin of Sisyphus Who gave his burden stone an extra push Just like you might have known it will He rolled that big old rock right over the hill Chorus -- interlude -- Double chorus

Noble Rhino 05:38
Whatcha know about noble Rhino? Stoic of the African plain What’s he thinkin’ ‘bout, damned if I know He ain’t talkin bout things he’s seen Truth be told he’s a little nearsighted Needs a closer look before he’ll talk If you’re worried bout his decision Just know that he walks the walk Chorus Noble Rhino -- on the plain Noble Rhino -- just sufferin’ a little eye strain just sufferin’ a little eye strain Whatcha know about Giant Tortoise? He’s old but he stands his ground Movin slow but he’s got purpose When we're gone, he’ll still be around Doesn’t worry bout people talkin Sticks & stones bounce off his shell Doesn’t worry about tomorrow Seen it all and he knows it well Chorus: Giant Tortoise - on the ground Giant Tortoise - Dodo’s gone, but he’s stickin ‘round, Dodo’s gone, but he’s stickin ‘round -- right about here we jam out big time -- Noble Rhino and Giant Tortoise Elephant and Crocodile Thicker skinned than any of us Long-lived, always in style Whatcha know about noble Rhino? Stoic of the African plain What’s he thinkin’ ‘bout, damned if I know He ain’t talkin bout things he’s seen He ain’t talkin bout things he’s seen He ain’t talkin bout things he’s seen -- close on massive rhino-charging jam --

My green heaven Dirty water nurture me Elevated by the sight of the world Lay low my burdens be I dodged a lot of bullets to get to where I am Now my heart is full And here I am at home I cringe to think how bad it could have been Now my home is a castle And I’m never alone Time is the enemy and time is on my side Common dichotomy washed in with the tide Of my green heaven Dirty water nurture me Elevated by the sight of the world Lay low my burdens be -- Cosmic interlude led by the bass -- There was something else I wanted to tell you But I forgot it on my way over It was the smartest thing that I ever thought Now it’s lost to me like a four-leaf clover In my green heaven Dirty water nurture me Elevated by the sight of the world Lay low my burdens be -- chorus repeats twice more --
